More than 100 respondents shared their view on KJD&I with us and participated in this survey. In total, 1000 contacts are invited to participate in the Keesing Journal of Documents & Identity International Readership Survey 2007. The results of this survey will be used for internal purposes only. However, we like to present to you the results of the International Readership Survey 2007! Results Keesing Journal of Documents & Identity International Readership Survey 2007 The results from this survey were very positive. The results of this survey were very positive. KJD&I is highly valued by its readers with 8 points (where 1 is insufficient and 10 is excellent). Readers of KJD&I consider the journal to be a worldwide publication with a variety of objective articles containing independent and need to know information. Readership The key to the success of KJD&I is the quality of itsreadership. The journal reaches a projected readership of thousands of key buyers, influencers and decision makers among the security document industry and at government institutions. 81% of Keesing Journal of Documents & Identity readers spends more than half an hour reading the journal [see table 2]. 92% of the readers save a copy of Keesing Journal of Documents & Identity for later use (54%) or give it to a colleague (38%) [See table 3]. 79% of the respondents gather information from specialist magazines, internet and conferences [see table 7]. 95% rated the article quality of the articles and authors as either “Excellent” (39%) or “Good” (56%). 71% of the respondents consider the articles in the journal objective It was interesting to see how our readers stay informed. It showed that most professionals gather information at conferences, and from the internet and specialist magazines, like KJD&I.
Most of the respondents indicated that they were first exposed to the journal at a conference (51%). [see table 1] Readers of the KJD&I find the ‘Innovation’ and the ‘Practical Experience’ sections most interesting. [See table 8]
