Over the last 25 years, the passport has come under growing pressure. To retain the trust it enjoys, it has been forced to evolve. At the same time, the passport provider has been forced to keep pace. Malcolm Cuthbertson joined De La Rue as a banknote salesman, transferring to travel documents with global responsibility soon after. Malcolm`s current responsibilities, within De La Rue`s Identity Systems business, exploit the expertise and knowledge of the travel document market which he has accumulated during more than 20 years in the industry. He works with governments around the world to develop their travel document issuing schemes, advising on every aspect of the document and systems. Malcolm also sits on ICAO`s Education and Promotion Working Group (EPWG).
