An interview with the General Managing Director of Dartagnan Biometric Solutions, Michiel Kraak, about the application of biometrics in access control systems. Michiel Kraak is Director Product Development at Dartagnan Biometric Solutions, a joint venture of Schiphol Group and Joh. Enschedé. Having gained considerable experience as a senior IT consultant working for several public and private companies, he became Director Strategy & Development for Joh. Enschedé, the Dutch security printer. Michiel has a PhD electrical engineering from Delft University.
