XtremeEngraving offers an excellent alternative to laser- derived engraving techniques while retaining the advantages of electromechanical engraving. Jan Breiholdt (1959) joined Dr.-Ing. Rudolf Hell GmbH (as it was known at the time) in 1985, offering customer support in relation to electronic image processing systems. He moved from product management to packaging gravure in 1991. Having merged with Linotype-Hell AG in 1990, Dr.-Ing. Rudolf was acquired by Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG in 1996. Jan has been actively involved in product management (flexographic output devices) since 2002, at which time HELL Gravure Systems GmbH became an independent company.
