Hans I. Bjelkhagen is professor of Interferential Imaging
Sciences at De Montfort University in the UK. In 1983, he
joined CERN in Geneva (Switzerland), where he was
involved in the development of bubble chamber holography.
Between 1985 and 1991, he was based at Northwestern
University, Evanston, IL, where he worked on the medical
applications of holography. Since 1969, he has been
involved in display holography, focusing on pulsed
holography in particular. He has published over 100
papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings.
In 2001, he was awarded the RPS Saxby Medal for his work
in holography. |
