ABN-AMRO Document verification is a matter of high priority for ABN AMRO which is one of the 20 largest banks in the world. The corporate security manager of ABN AMRO Mr. Henk van Zanten says that effective verification requires not only the right verification equipment but also a reliable reference system that provides detailed images and descriptions of the security features of the document to be verified. After having used the Keesing Identity Checker in book form as a reference for many years, ABN AMRO has recently switched to Keesing’s online application www.documentchecker.com. All ABN AMRO employees involved in identity document verification consult this application. Some of the advantages of the online application are that it contains more reference images and that updates are added automatically when they become available. Bank employees consider the application to be very useful and user-friendly. RBS The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), which is among the 20 largest banks in the world, has equipped its UK branches with the Keesing Identity Checker. Ms Lucy Hill of the Retail Financial Crime department has informed us RBS is very content with this loose leaf publication for the verification of identity documents. Especially, since one of the RBS branches was able to prevent a case of large scale fraud by using the Keesing Identity Checker on the day they received it!
Money Mart The financial services company Money Mart has subscribed to our online publication for the verification of identity documents and banknotes www.documentchecker.com Here is some of the feedback we received from their users of our application. “I tried out the demo account and I absolutely love it!! You can see the security features of currencies and ID under the black light and how it should look. Also shows examples of both counterfeit currencies and ID compared to genuine. The learning session and quiz is an added value as well”.
“I was messing around in this site today and really like it. I was quite surprised with the amount of information available. I had a store staff member use it to verify currency, as well as a foreign passport. We appreciated the ‘alerts’ sections most of all, as this information could be shared regularly in the branches.”
